The first annual Quinte Craft: Beer by the Bay Festival in Belleville brought the big crowds to Empire Square yesterday.
Over 4,000 people showed up to taste local craft beer and food in the downtown square.
Bay of Quinte Tourism Director Dug Stevenson says more is to come.
Sampler Debbie Huibers said she enjoyed the day.
Organizers say they are planning an expanded festival at Zwick’s Park for September.
