The Belleville Police Service responded to 55 calls for service between March 12th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and March 13th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Arson
Belleville, Ontario- On March 12th, at 2:19 p.m., police responded to a Thurlow residence in order to assist Belleville Fire. Upon arrival it was learned that a resident had set fire to items in an apartment. The smoke from the incident spread to the adjacent apartment. A 29 year-old female was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter
Belleville Ontario – Since Jan 27th, 2016 police responded to three incidents of property crimes involving 2 churches along Church Street. Police are requesting any suspicious activity to be reported and anyone with information about these crimes are asked to contact Crime-Stoppers or the Belleville Police Service.
Tip Line for Bank Robbery and School incident
Belleville, Ontario – The Belleville Police Service has established a tip line in relation to the two incidents from March 10th – the Robbery at the Royal Bank downtown and the shooting at Quinte Secondary School.
