The Belleville Police Service responded to 51 calls for service between March10th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and March 11th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Motor vehicle accident : Belleville ON
On 10 March 2016 at 10:22 pm police attended a motor vehicle collision involving four vehicles. Investigation revealed a driver was south bound on Valleyview Crescent, lost its brakes and plowed into three other parked vehicles. A 35 year old Belleville male was charged with several Highway Traffic offences. He will appear in court on 18 April 2016. There were no injuries.
Assault –Belleville ON
On the 10th day of March 2016 at 9:17 pm police attended a residence on Victoria Ave to assist ambulance with a call for service. Investigation revealed that a male had suffered numerous strikes to his head, and needed medical treatment. Police arrested a 40 year Belleville male for assault. He was held in custody for a bail hearing on the 11th day of March 2016
Suspicious Male –Belleville ON
On the 10th day of March 2016 at 11:30 pm, police attended the area of 305 North Front regarding a suspicious male yelling at traffic. Police found a 50 year Belleville man standing in the roadway looking at passing cars. Police arrested the male for public intoxication
