The Trenton Golden Hawks have earned a few days off.
Hunter Fargey scored two early power play goals and Trenton never looked back, defeating Newmarket 6-2 to sweep their first round OJHL Conference quarter final. Mitch Emerson assisted on both of those goals.
Lucas Brown also scored twice with singles from Quinn Lenihan and Liam Morgan.
The Golden Hawks will likely play the winner of the Wellington-Aurora series which continues tonight north of Toronto. The Dukes lead it 2-1. CJBQ has the play by play for Prinzen Ford Sales of Bloomfield at 7:2
