The Belleville Police Service responded to 54 calls for service between March 9th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and March 10th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Belleville, Ontario – On March 9th, 2016, at 11:35 p.m. police attended a Coleman St. address in regards to a disturbance. A 29-year old Belleville man was arrested for assaulting a woman. The female victim was able to fend off her would be attacker. The male was treated at the local hospital for minor injuries as a result of the altercation and is held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
