The name of the suspect in an attempted bank robbery in Belleville is known.
On Monday afternoon, city police were called to the CIBC bank in the downtown, after a suspect brandished a knife and demanded cash.
He left on foot empty handed, however police arrested him a short distance away.
Thirty-five-year-old Edward Skelding was charged with attempted robbery and breach of probation.
He has a bail hearing on Tuesday.
