Update on March 8th story “ Theft from Cars”
Belleville, Ontario – On March 8th, 2016, at 3:45 a.m. officers arrested a male on John St. after receiving reports of a male going through cars. It was later learned that this male provided a false name to officers during booking. His actual name was Jason William Millben, 40 years of age, from Hamilton. There were also warrants for his arrest from Hamilton. Millben was charged with 9 criminal offences and remains in bail court in Belleville. His charges include three counts of a controlled substance (marijuana, cannabis resin, and Clonazepan), three counts of breach of probation, obstructing police, prowling by night, and mischief under $5000.00. The mischief charge pertains to a damaged car on Alexander Street that he attempted to break into.
Break and Enter
Belleville, Ontario – On March 8th, 2016, at 2:35 p.m. police attended on Wallbridge Crescent in relation to a break and enter. Unknown persons removed clothing and a laptop from the residence.
