A Quinte West man has a bail hearing today after an assault in early this morning.
Just before 4:00 a.m, OPP were called to a Loyalist Parkway residence, after a domestic assault call came in.
They were greeted by a victim who said she had been assaulted and a suspect left on foot.
The K-9 Unit and the Emergency Response Team were called in and they located a man at a nearby home.
A 45-year-old man is charged.
The victim was treated for injuries at hospital.
