Brighton council has voted to support a proposal to put a Veterans Care Centre into Trenton Memorial Hospital, but not unanimously.
There were concerns that the Veterans Centre would encompass the entire hospital and there would be no regular hospital services offered anymore.
In fact, the proposed Veterans Centre would only take up a part of already vacant space at TMH.
