Belleville has been selected as the host site for a major conference of road supervisors in a couple of years.
The city will welcome the Association of Road Supervisors Trade Show on June 6th and 7th of 2018 and will host the event at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Belleville Roads Supervisor and Secretary of District 8 Road Supervisors, Joseph Reid, says the local group is looking forward to showcasing the city.
Reid says the entire sports centre will be jammed with about 200 exhibits.
Along with the 200 exhibitors, the trade show is expected to bring about 2,000 tourists to the area.
