Three Quinte West councillors who died while serving their term in office will be honoured on a plaque at city hall.
Monday night, council approved having a plaque made commemorating former councillors Doug Whitney, Roy Ingram and Doreen Reid.
Mayor Jim Harrison said once it is finished they will be able to add to it and the public will have access to it in the front foyer.
Council had considered the idea of having a memorial garden construction at the entrance to Centennial Park but decided a plaque at city hall would be more fitting.
