The Trenton Golden Hawks gave the Newmarket Hurricanes a clinic on “shut-down” hockey.
Daniel Urbani stopped the only 14 shots he faced as Trenton shut out Newmarket 3-0 to take a 3-0 lead in their best of 7. That’s Urbani’s second shutout of the series. Kevin Lavoie and Jordan Chard scored second period short handed goals. Danny Hanlon nets the winner.
Game 4 is in Newmarket Thursday night. CJBQ will have the call.
