No games last night for Wellington and Trenton, but they are both back at it today. The Golden Hawks take on the Newmarket Hurricanes in Game 3 at the Dunc McDonald Memorial Gardens sporting a 2-0 series lead. Game time is set for 3:00.
Later on, the Dukes will tangle with the Aurora Tigers holding on to a 1-0 series advantage after a 2-1 victory Friday night. Puck drop is set for 7:30, CJBQ will have the broadcast starting at 7:20.
EMPIRE B FINAL
Matt Cavanaugh capped off a Port Hope Panthers comeback just 28 seconds into the first overtime period for a 4-3 win in Game 1 of the Empire B Jr C Final against the Napanee Raiders. Blane Gaudon (2) and Dalton Lawrence had the other Port Hope goals, Cullen Hinds, Michael Parr and Brodie Butt all replied for Napanee. Game 2 goes tonight at 7:30 in Napanee.
