There will be thrills and chills today along the bayshore in east end Belleville.
Actually, there will likely be more chills than thrills.
At 11 a.m., Belleville’s first ever “Polar Plunge” event takes place at the Herchimer Street
boat launch.
The event, dubbed “Freezin’ for a Reason,” was organized by a group of Loyalist College students.
All money raised goes toward the local YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign.
