Work is about to kick into high gear, on a new rail crossing for Bay Bridge Road, from Belleville into The County.
At Thursday’s Mayor’s Implementation Team meeting, staff updated the group on the project, which is expected to take until next spring.
Elisha Purchase with Build Belleville says Zenith Contracting is prepping the site now.
Purchase adds they will install message boards shortly to update commuters.
It will be put down to two lanes during the work.
Steel support beams and aggregate are already on site, along with numerous pieces of construction equipment.
