Some more steps have been taken leading toward the development of the proposed McDonald’s-Shell project in Brighton.
Chief Building officer Rick Jones says the developer has received Ministry of Environment approval.
All the rest of the planning requirements have been met for the proposed development of the restaurant-gas station at highway 401 and Telephone Road in Brighton.
Meanwhile, Jones says, Tim Horton’s has applied for a zoning change to allow a Tim Horton’s in the parking lot of a grocery store on Old Highway 2 in Brighton.
