OurTMH isn’t giving up on trying to reverse a decision by Quinte Health Care to move some surgical procedures from Trenton Memorial Hospital to Belleville General.
At a meeting today, the citizens advocacy group voted to seek a legal opinion on whether or not it could force the surgeries to remain in Trenton.
Co-chair Mike Cowan isn’t sure what the lawyers will say.
Under the decision by Quinte Health Care, some surgical procedures would remain in Trenton but most would be moved to Belleville.
