GHAWKS
In local action, the Trenton Golden Hawks dropped a 3-0 decision in their last game of the regular season in Aurora to the Tigers. Jackson McIntosh stopped 20 shots in the loss. The GHawks finish up their 54 game sked with a 44-6-1-3 record. They will face off against the Newmarket Hurricanes in round one. Series schedule has yet to be determined.
EMPIRE B
It will be a rematch of last year’s final in Empire B Jr C action. Justynn Steven added 2 goals and 1 assist and Aidan McFarland, Jordon Cannons and Cullen Hinds combined for 10 helpers in the Napanee Raiders 7-2 victory over the Amherstview Jets. Brett Yake notched both Amherstview goals. A six goal second period did the trick for Napanee in the victory. The Raiders will take on the Port Hope Panthers in the final. The Panthers swept Napanee last year.
