There could be changes coming to the operation of the Front Street Farmers Market in downtown Trenton this
season.
Economic Development Coordinator Christina Edwards Scott says the main changes will involve opening the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays instead of Thursdays and Saturdays.
The hours would change from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. to 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Also, vendors have asked that processed or cooked food be sold and that there be no reserved spaces at the market.
Meanwhile, a mobile sign advertising the Farmers Market will be installed for six months in Bain Park along Old Highway 2.
Quinte West council will have the final say on the recommendations.
