Motor Vehicle Collisions
Belleville, Ontario- During the past 24 hours police responded to 6 motor vehicle collisions at various locations. 5 of the collisions were property damage only with one being a minor personal injury. Police are reminding drivers to slow down, drive according to road conditions and increase their following distance in poor weather conditions.
Arrest on Warrants
Belleville, Ontario- On the 25th of February 2016 at 12:50 PM an officer patrolling Cannifton Rd observed a male known to him to have outstanding warrants. The male was working on a vehicle in a parking lot. A 47 yr old male from Belleville was arrested and is being held for a bail hearing on charges of drive while disqualified and breach probation.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario- On the 26th of February 2016 at 12:08 AM Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Cannifton Rd. Investigation revealed a male had assaulted a female. A 28 yr old male from Belleville is charged with assault. He was released on a Promise to Appear with Officer in Charge conditions, he will appear in court 10 Mar 2016.
