It’s just about maple syrup time. In fact, the sap is already running, and producers have done some boiling in the southern part of Prince Edward County.
However, most sugar bush owners are, as is normal, waiting on the weather.

Meanwhile, during the Maple in the County festival in mid-March, the Lake Lodge Masons from Ameliasburgh will be honoring the military at their pancake breakfast at Hubb’s sugar bush.
It’s expected 8 Wing Base Commander, Colonel Colin Keiver, and other senior officers from the base
will be paying a visit.
Maple in the County runs March 19th and 20th.
