More names have been added to a hospital advocacy group’s list of officials receiving protest e-mails from a petition aimed at stopping the move of surgery services from Trenton Memorial to Belleville General.
On Saturday, the group Our TMH created a survey called ‘Operation Groundswell’ with the intent of sending it to Premier Kathleen Wynne’s office, Health Minister Dr. Eric Hoskins, Southeast Local Health Integration Network CEO Paul Huras, Quinte Healthcare president and CEO Mary Clare Egberts and QHC board chair Tricia Anderson.
Our TMH Chair Mike Cowan says that they have extended that list to the entire QHC board because it will have more impact.
The online petition has garnered 744 signatures.
