A marijuana grow operation has been dismantled following a fire at a home in Napanee on Friday.
Napanee OPP were called to the scene at 9036 on Highway 33 near Adolphustown in the afternoon where a firefighter discovered a marijuana grow-op inside the garage.
Members of the drug enforcement unit executed a search warrant, seizing 64 mature plants, 98 clones and 13 kilograms of marijuana shake with a street value over $90,000.
A 46-year-old man, Shawn Wafer of Adolphustown is charged with two counts of production of a controlled substance and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The fire left extensive damage to the home and a cause remains unknown.
