The Bay of Quinte Remedial Action Plan is looking for volunteer citizen scientists to monitor for frogs and birds in local wetlands.
On March 7, local naturalist and columnist Terry Sprague will be hosting a free presentation that provides information on the Community Wildlife Program to teach volunteers how to identify various birds and frogs.
Sprague says amphibians and birds are good indicators as to the health of the wetland.
There is no cost to attend the presentation. Those interested should contact Terry Sprague at 613-848-4549 or naturestuff.tours@gmail.com
