A tentative agreement between the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board and its elementary teachers has been reached.
The agreement covers local issues handled at the board level, while the provincial government handles province wide negotiations on issues like salary and class size.
Details of the agreement will not be released until ratification votes take place by the local elementary teachers and the school board.
