The Member of Provincial Parliament for Northumberland Quinte West is hoping for good news fairly soon on moving a newly-created Veterans Care Centre into space at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
MPP Lou Rinaldi says he, along with local Federal MPs Neil Ellis and Mike Bossio and others, are continuing efforts to gather information to convince the Federal government that TMH would be a good location for one of two new Veterans Centres being planned.
Meanwhile, MPP Rinaldi says the provincial Minister of Health Eric Hoskins has promised that investments will be made to create a “health hub” at Trenton Memorial Hospital, and remains very interested in supporting a Veterans Care Centre.
