Reps from the Quinte West Non Profit Housing Corporation say residents of two Annwood Court townhouses, affected by an explosion, could be back home in a month or so.
Spokesperson Leah Davis tells Quinte News the homes on either side of Unit 24, where the explosion happened, are being repaired and cleaned, and that work will hopefully be complete by the end of March.
Davis says the tenants of those homes are being housed at other company properties, so they’re comfortable until they return.
Meanwhile she says there’s been no contact with the residents of Unit 24 and she says there’s no timeline on when that home will be repaired.
Damage includes blown out walls and floors and piles of debris.
Two Quinte-area men have been charged in relation to the January 10th explosion.
