Assistant Warden Vicki Willis says the inmate, who wasn’t named, was found with about 15 grams of heroin and five grams of marijuana, around 5:00 last Friday evening.
The total institutional value of the drugs is more than $15,600.
Millhaven management is crediting the work of guards, the detector dog team and security intelligence officers with the bust.
The investigation is ongoing.
