Exciting times at Pearson International Airport yesterday.
A refugee family from Syria was greeted by members of the Brighton Refugee Immigrant
Needs Group, or “BRING”.
The refugees, the Alrefai family, consist of father and mother, and three daughters.
They will be staying at a motel in Brighton while an apartment is made ready for them.
The two older girls will attend East Northumberland Secondary School, while the youngest
will go to Brighton Public School.
