In local figure skating news, an ENSS student has pushed on to the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships coming up in March.
Grade 11 Madeline Patenall of Brighton took the Women’s category at the Eastern Ontario Star Skate Competition this past weekend in Whitby.
Patenall is a member of the Whitby Figure Skating Club and is coming off a broken ankle back in September.
