An architect has been chosen for the addition and renovation of a local school.
At Monday night’s meeting of the Hastings and Prince Edward school board, trustees approved AECOM Canada Architects to produce the designs and drawings for the changes to Marmora Senior Public School.
The Ministry of Education has approved the construction, which will amalgamate students from Earl Prentice, at a price tag of $3.7 million.
Ten submissions were filed for the tender and AECOM was chosen for qualifications, skills, fees and past preformance.
