Yesterday’s snowstorm was one for the record books!
According to Environment Canada and readings taken from CFB Trenton, 22.4 centimetres of snow fell in Quinte yesterday, a new record.
Previously the most snow to fall on a February 16 was 17.1 cm in 1993.
However, unofficial measurements taken around the area, especially in southern Prince Edward County, showed up to 40 cm of snow on the ground.
