There will be a celebration of accomplishments by Belleville residents in the fields of medicine and science Thursday evening.
It’s Heritage Week in Ontario, and the Heritage Belleville Committee is hosting its annual open house at city hall.
Chair of Heritage Belleville, Janna Colton, says people can learn about the annual Science Fair and its future and hear about a notable Belleville resident from the past, who invented insulin.
Awards will be given to two people for their work over the past year in heritage revitalization.
The Heritage Belleville Open House begins at 6 p.m. tomorrow at city hall.
