An investigation by the Napanee Crime Unit has concluded the woman killed in serious incident in Odessa over the weekend was a victim of a homicide.
Around 12 p.m. February 14, Napanee OPP responded to a residence in the town where they found 28-year-old Nicole Guimond dead at the scene.
The investigation under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Peter Donnelly, Criminal Investigation Branch has determined that she was a victim of a homicide.
24-year-old Travis Sayyeau who was transported to hospital from the scene later died from his injuries. There is no foul play involved in his death.
The autopsy results for Guimond and Sayyeau won’t be known from some time.
OPP are asking anyone with information into this incident to contact them.
