The Port Hope Panthers put a dent in the Gananoque Islanders playoff hopes with a 4-1 win at home last night. Two goals for Dalton Lawrence led the way for the home side; Quinn Cota stopped 36 shots in the loss for the visitors.
Meanwhile in Campbellford, Adam Kim tallied an overtime winning goal with 50 seconds remaining to give the Amherstview Jets a 4-3 win over the host Rebels. Kim and Brett Yake each had two points, Karm Dart had 3 points in the defeat.
Tonight, it’s the Picton Pirates visiting Amherstview looking to lock up the fourth place in the Empire B Jr. C League.
