A program to promote products made in the Bay of Quinte area, right here in Quinte area stores, wraps up this month.
Quinte Economic Development Commission executive director Chris King says the promotion started out as a pilot project in two stores, Smileys Independent in Quinte West and Dewes Independent in Belleville.
Signs are put in the area featuring made-in-the-Bay of Quinte region products.
King told the QEDC yesterday the six-month pilot project will be assessed later this spring but was unsure if it would be continued.
