The Quinte Economic Development Commission will continue to focus in 2016 on the target markets it set two years ago.
Today, the QEDC approved a 2016 budget at $1.15 million that focuses on the four markets in a plan set two years ago.
They are food processing, logistics, advanced marketing and aerospace.
Executive director Chris King says investment attraction is a main goal.
He says retaining business is also a focus.
The three municipalities Belleville, Quinte West and Brighton contribute just under $400,000 to the QEDC budget, the remainder comes from the provincial and federal governments.
