The roster that will represent Canada at the upcoming floorball championships in Belleville, is down to 28 names.
Coach Todd Crawford says they slimmed down the numbers, after recent camps and last weekends tournament in Markham.
Included in the final 28 are Braedyn Irwin, Madi Brinklow both from Belleville, Lily Messier from Foxboro, Dara Killoran from Cobourg, Aislyn Stretch and Olivia Di Vona from Port Hope and Kieva Earle from Grafton.
Several members Canada have already been named to the final roster, including 14 year old Alexa Hoskin, Livy Greaves and team captain Hannah Wilson, all from Belleville and Emily Lange from Trenton.
Coach Crawford says the team will be put down to 20 by the end of February.
The 2016 Women’s under 19 World Floorball Championships will be held May 3rd-8th at Belleville’s Quinte Sports and Wellness.
