Batawa is going to be a very busy area this weekend, as CFB Trenton hosts their annual Pond Hockey Classic weekend.
Around 30 teams will play four on four, for the right to be called champions.
Tonight there will be a gala dinner, with guest speaker Corporal C.J Wilneff, an Afghan vet who suffers from P.T.S.D.
The weekend is a fundraiser for Wounded Warriours Canada and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Wendy Warner is the Executive Director for TMHF and says it’s a great weekend to network with the military community.
