People in our area are receiving scam phone calls again.
A Belleville woman reports receiving a call from someone with a foreign accent telling
her that she had overpaid for a Microsoft product by 200 dollars.
The caller then asks for credit card information so a refund can be made to it.
The woman had never made any such purchase, and refused to divulge personal financial
information.
Again, never give a stranger personal information, especially financial information, over the phone.
