A familiar face to Wellington Dukes fans is returning to Ontario.
24 year-old goaltender Jordan Ruby, the OJHL Playoff MVP in 2001, has signed with the ECHL Brampton Beast, after playing a couple of test games.
Ruby won a pair of NCAA conference championships with the Rochester Institute of Technology, after leaving Wellington and spent most of this season with the SPHL Huntsville Havoc, in Alabama.
Ruby has a 2-1-1-1 record with the Beast, including a 2.48 goals against average and a .924 save percentage.
