Applications are being accepted again, for funding handouts from the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Kay Stafford Fund.
Any community group with projects or equipment needs that can benefit TMH patients, may apply.
Executive Director Wendy Warner tells Quinte News a lot of the money recently has been used to deploy automatic defibrillators across the city.
Warner also tells Quinte News, some people are starting to donate a percentage of their estates to the foundation, as part of their will.
Warner says, since you can only will your estate to family, the government, or a charity, making a donation can actually benefit the donor as well.
