Plans are starting to move forward to a renovation and amalgamation of schools in Marmora.
The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board will join the students at Earl Prentice Public with those enrolled at Marmora Senior.

The province has allocated $3.2 million for the project, with the rest coming from the board’s Building Renewal Fund.
Five new classrooms and a double-wide gym are a part of the proposal.
