A documentary film honoring war veterans from the hamlet of Deloro, in Marmora and Lake, will be screened at the upcoming International Film Fest of World Cinema in London, England.
The Deloro Memorial film, Lest We Forget, has also been nominated in the Best Director for a short documentary category, and Best Educational or Scientific film category.
The film was created by Peterborough digital media producer, Laura J. Forth.
Last October, Canada’s first digital war memorial was unveiled in Deloro.
Visitors in Deloro can simply scan their smartphones across the memorial and instantly view Lest We Forget.
