It has been months in the process, however, Quinte Health Care has finally signed off on its 2016-17 operating and capital budget.

A total of 69 full-time and seven part-time employees will be affected.
A total of 45 registered nurses are part of that.
CEO Mary Clare Egberts says there are some vacant positions those employees can apply for.
QHC Financial Officer Brad Harrington says they are looking to bring down the average cost of care for each patient, while maintaining current service.
QHC Board Chair Tricia Anderson says it is not an easy decision, however, the board is satisfied with the outcome.
CEO Egberts is hopeful the province will soon start to provide inflation increases to ease financial tension.
