The “100 Men who care Quinte ” group stepped up with a major donation to Hospice Quinte Monday.
Hospice Quinte offers services to hundreds of adults each year, but executive director Helen Dowdell says the money will go to two programs for children.
Those are “Rainbows” for chidren who have lost a loved one and the second, What about Me, is for children living with a loved one with a serious illness.
Ken Manderville of the 100 men presented a cheque for 11-thousand-500 dollars to
Hospice Quinte.
The agency served 400 patients last year with the help of 120 volunteers.
