Things have finally returned to normal at the Quinte Humane Society.
After weeks of an outbreak of the deadly Parvovirus, the shelter has deemed it safe to open to regular function.
Executive Director Frank Rockett says they have not had a case in three weeks.
He says it is crucial that all dog owners ensure their canine is vaccinated against the virus.
Rockett says 40 dogs in total were exposed, with 13 fatalities.
