Impaired Driver-Arrest
Belleville, Ontario- On the 24th of January 2016 at approximately 3Pm Belleville Police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the area of North Park Street and Bell Blvd. Police responded and located the vehicle. The driver showed sign of alcohol consumption and a roadside test was performed. The driver failed the roadside test and was subsequently taken to the station resulting in breath readings exceeding the legal limit. A 46yr old male from Belleville is charged with Operating a motor vehicle while over 80mgs; he was released on a promise to appear in Belleville Provincial Court Feb 11/16. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
