Homeowners in the Glen Ross area of Quinte West are being asked to keep an eye on the Trent River tonight as frazil ice continues to cause a dramatic rise in water levels.
A “flood watch” is in place from Lower Trent Conservation, right along the Trent River, with instances of flooding already reported in Glen Ross.

As the temperature goes down overnight, water levels will rise as more is formed. Levels are expected to recede slightly as the temperature warms back up through the day tomorrow.
