The back and forth for repairs on a downtown Belleville eyesore are far from finished.
Quinte News has learned that the municipality and property owner Prime Canadian Properties have sat down once again over incomplete work on the former Intelligencer building.
An official with the city says they wanted the company to be much further ahead of repairs than they are.
The official also says, if things do not move quicker, they may end up back in court.
Prime Canadian Properties meantime is rumoured to be looking at a retrofit for the building at the corner of Bridge Street and Pinnacle Street.
Discussions continue between the two sides, in hopes of coming to an agreement.
Prime Canadian Properties faced a court order to do repairs, after the city took them to court last year.
